Nearly Xmas!

I am so . . . PO'd! Jetix took off the new series of Ninja Turtles just to show Power Rangers all damn day! Power Rangers SUCKS SO MUCH so Why? WHY!?!?!?! And no episodes next week either - life sucks. No, life doesn't suck, it's just JETIX that sucks!!

Anyway, I'm sorry I don't update as much as I should but tough. I have other things to do.

First off, I would like to say a huge THANK YOU AND LOVE YOU to those who nominated me for the fanfic awards! Four of my stories are nominated and I was never expecting it. The four are; 'Alone', 'It Had To Be Blue', 'Choosing Destiny' and 'In Too Deep'. Out of all of them I think that 'Alone' is the best, but *glum* is up against 'Akumu' by Dierdre, which just happens to be fabulous. I guess that elusive title is still out of my reach. . .

I know I won't update for the rest of the month, so I'd like to say HAPPY CHRISTMAS to everyone happening upon this blog.

And now for review responses - where was I at? Oh yeah. . .

It Had To be Blue:

Maria Shadow - for some reason, I can't get the bold off! I'm glad you liked and by now you might have found the sequel, which I hope you like just as well.

Reluctant Dragon - you confused the hell outta me! The whole 'happy T-day' thing got me in a fluster. I thought to myself, "self," I thought, "Does she mean Thursday? but why would she wish me a happy Thursday?" It took me an awful long time to realise it was Thanksgiving in the US! I thank you for the sentiment though. And I'm glad you liked the story!

Lunar-ninja - Well, now ya know 'its' gender and name! I have to admit, I loved writing him as ambiguous but I don't think I could do it for two fics. What is it with me and ambiguity? I have two bunnies boiling and one doesn't reveal the turtle until the end and the other doesn't reveal him at all! I must be afraid to commit or something.

Sassyblondexoxo - You know I already got the sequel up! I'm just bad at answering reviews. Hope your exams went well! And, if ya reading this *Gives the puppy dog eyes* you know I'm an obsessive zombie fan right? And an equally obsessive Mikey fan? So you know I want the next chapter of 'Plague' so I know that Mikey isn't eaten by zombies? Hmmm. . . if I win the lottery, would you quit work and be paid by me to write TMNT fanfiction? Please?

Jessiy Landroz - I kept changing my mind as to the Dragons gender, so sometimes it came off as a guy and sometimes as a girl. I've comitted now, so for better or worse, he's a guy!

Innocent Rebel - Girl, you rock! More vigilante-ism is always fun and that's what I focused on in the new story.

Olafur - Ya know how grateful I am to you for all your help? You do? Let me tell you again! Without you, 'Deep' wouldn't exist and I've been having so much fun writing it that it's ideal down time. I was totally stumped about a sequel until you mailed me. I knew I'd like to write one but had no ideas - plus, you talked me down from the 'Mary-Sue' ledge. I like Sam much better as a guy! So for everything, THANK YOU!!!

Coldsun - I did have a bit of a prob with the epilogue, not the ideas so much as how to write them down. The end of the epilogue was the hardest part, knowing how to finish the fic but not able to find the words to give it a definate end. I'm glad you liked it!

Pacphys - The karma thing struck me, oddly enough, after a visit to the supermarket. I believe in karma wholeheartedly and gave some cash to the guy collecting for sick kids at the door, the fic on my mind and the idea hit me. What goes around comes around. . . Guess it's my impression of religion. And chack the sequel, he's back, he's bad - I'm sorry I can't check your fics right now! I haven't seen all of series 3 yet, let alone series 4. But when I do, I'll be right there!

Mew2Fem - I'm glad you liked it!

Flora - Thanks! I was a little worried my OC came off as an asshole, because I wrote him that way when I did it as a one-shot. Good to know he might not be an asshole but can still talk. And I thought Donnie would be the one to most object to his colour moniker!

Ted - Gangs are a waste of time. I hadn't expected him to get out of gang life at all, it was just how the fic turned out.

I am so bad at this! It took me an age to find out how to add new posts. Think I've got it sorted now though.

First off: reviews for 'Only Words'. They were all appreciated BTW!

Reluctant Dragon - First person in my blog! Doncha feel special? I think Raph does love Mikey that much but gets exasperated with him and stuff he does - but he'd miss it if Mikey wasn't around.

Coldsun - Yeah, it was a Raph POV about Mikey, although it wasn't specified anywhere.

Jessiy Landroz - It never occured to me that it sounded a bit like Don, I know there are some things in the fic that aren't especially Raph-like but that's understandable - when I started it, it was supposed to be a Leo POV! Raph just snuck in there and ambushed the story.

MariaShadow - For all the irritation he feels with his bro, I think Raph really does love Mikey to bits. And Raph is the most emotional of them all, that's just my opinion.

Tewi - Thanks! I was feeling a bit angsty when I wrote it.

Innocent-rebel - Thanks for the offer love, good to know there's someone out there in cyberspace who's shoulder I can (metaphorically) cry on! I just felt so crap, but I know I'll hang in there. And SS is always up for having fun!

Sassyblondexoxo - Raph hijacked the fic! I wound up writing it from his POV without even realising when I was supposed to be writing about Leo. Then I decided it worked better as him anyway.

Lunar-ninja - It is a pretty sad fic, I don't know what's gotten into me lately! Or rather, I know what got into me when I wrote it but I normally write stuff that's a lot happier. Just glad ya liked it!

Astria Starsmore - I made you cry? Sorry honey! Still, I guess it's the sign of a good fic if it can get you to feel that way about the characters.

Sailor Vegeta - Eddie Guerrero, yeah, I was gutted about that too. Just having a bad day all around that day really! I didn't want to say how he died or anything just because it wasn't reallly a part of the fic but I have some ideas. . . I'm sorry about your classmate. I know that feeling, like you're imagining the whole thing and then you realise you're not. . . it's the worst feeling in the world.

Leslie - Thanks, I will get around to E-mailing you! Yeah, I'm hanging in there. It was Mikey and Raph who were the focus of the fic, I need to write something with Leo and Don just to offset all the Raph/Mikey stuff I write!

OK, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with these things. I just thought it would be nice to respond to reviews now that you can't do it on fanfiction. How am I feeling today? Lousy. Anyone who read my story 'Only Words' will know why. I'm skiving from life, hiding out in my house with the curtains closed, pretending the world isn't really going on outside. But meh, I'll recover and be back to my perky, obnoxious self very soon! Promise!

Aside from that I have a carpet burn on my face. I'm gonna have to answer some embarrassing questions about that one. . . actually it's not that bad. It's right under my chin where you can hardly see it. I slipped on the stairs yesterday and hit my face on the floor. What a klutz, eh? Hurts though.

I just learned how to play 'Cryin' by Aerosmith on my guitar. I should be at college, but like I said I'm hiding from life today. I will have to go to work later on though, can't hide from that or the bills don't get paid. My son is staying over with my mam at least, so I don't have to do the kid thing at the moment. I'm listening to loud rock music and realising that I have to go on a work-related dinner on Friday and my roots are going blonde - for those of you who ain't seen my picture at the Stealthy Stories forum, I dye my hair black but am actually a natural blonde. It looks really weird when they start growing back. Must buy dye! Oh God, and I have a carpet burn on my face! Way professional Sewer Slider! I'm a legal executive so I'm gonna be hanging with a bunch of lawyers with carpet burns on my face. . . oh no. Oh no. Could things get any worse? Ha. I keep telling myself that things can ALWAYS get worse but it's not helping very much right now.

OK, the next post will be done in a few minutes and contain review responses for 'Alone' and 'Only Words'. Gotta wonder if anyone will actuallly read this. . .
